I'm having recurrent sleep paralysis the last few days. It's only scary if you don't understand it. I just wait for the paralysis to pass.

One-Peso Bill

You need:
1. Opda Certificate for your phone (.key and .cer file)
2. SignSis
3. Virtual Key

Copy all 4 files to your device.


Install SignSis.
Run SignSis and type:


Go to Options->Sign.
Now install VirtualKey. (Make sure you have the right date on your device.)
Run VirtualKey, You now have a virtual keypad that can be dragged around.

Click on the right key to hide Virtual Key.

Now run Skyfire!


Press on OK on the virtual key. You can control Skyfire through virtual key.

Nokia 5800 Capacitive Screen

When people borrow my 5800, they do not press on it: They think that finger swipes will control the phone. But it will not. That only works for capacitive screens, not resistive screens, like the Nokia 5800 has. You need to apply more force to control the phone. It sucks.

Nokia might just give us an upgrade. If it's a free upgrade, I'll take it. If I buy to buy the phone again, malabo

I recently bought a Nokia 5800, Nokia's iPhone competitor. The price is PhP 15,490, brand new. Luckily, it was an introductory price, that's why it was so cheap. But unfortunately, the phone's product code is 0578218, and it is the model that can't be updated. I'm stuck with firmware v11. I'll continue checking via NSU.

EDIT: I'm surprised that I'm not the only one with the gap near the power button.

Space Dancer: Nokia 5800 multitouch game

Happy Easter! Special things happens this day. aside from Jesus, the Nokia 5800 multitouch game is released! You can download it!

The game, in alpha stages, is now called called Space Dancer. It brings multitouch to the single touch nokia 5800. This game is based on Guitar Hero. I tried it and it was great. I'll post a video soon!

Run Thunderbird on startup, at system tray

This is something everyone wants to do with Thunderbird, make it run quietly on the system tray on startup, like it's part of Windows. Here's what you need to do: (instructions are for vista, should be similar to XP)

1. Install the minimizetotray addon.
2. Restart Thunderbird, go to tools->addons. Click on minimizetotray 'Options'. Check all three options.
3. Go to: "%USERPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup", then paste a shortcut of Thunderbird.
4. Right click the newly-pasted Thunderbird shortcut, click on properties. Select the 'Shortcut' tab, change the 'Run' option to 'Minimized'.

There you go! Thunderbird should now run every startup, at the system tray.
