Run Skyfire on Nokia 5800

UPDATE: Skyfire can now be used on S60 v5 phones such as the Nokia 5800. A touchscreen version is now available! Go get it here!


Can't get past the OK window? This guide will show you how to use Skyfire on your Nokia 5800.

You need:
1. Opda Certificate for your phone (.key and .cer file)
2. SignSis
3. Virtual Key

Copy all 4 files to your device.


Install SignSis.
Run SignSis and type:


Go to Options->Sign.
Now install VirtualKey. (Make sure you have the right date on your device.)
Run VirtualKey, You now have a virtual keypad that can be dragged around.

Click on the right key to hide Virtual Key.

Now run Skyfire!


Press on OK on the virtual key. You can control Skyfire through virtual key.

  1. this is not enough because Skyfire is unable to find the network card of the nokia 5800

  2. It connects to my network card just fine, but scrolling, browsing, etc. is all but impossible, even using the virtual keyboard. getting Skyfire installed and "running" on the 5800 is possible, but it's a long way from being able to actually use it.
