They actually allow students (like me) to apply for an EON card, providing that you bring your school ID and birth certificate when you pick up your card.

Got your EON card? dont enroll your card on Paypal yet! read this for the proper way to do it:

1. Get Unionbank’s EON Card Cyber Account. Get this debit card either by signing up online through their official website or go to the nearest branch.
2. After five working days, you have to call the branch where you applied in. It’s very important to call them because I did not. lol. You will end up waiting and waiting. I was dumb that I thought they’re going to call me. Yeah, call them and ask them if your EON card is ready to pick up

Broadband's Powerful Future

Previously, if you wanted a broadband internet connection, you either plug your computer into a DSL modem from your phone company or into a cable modem from your cable TV network. But in the future it's increasingly possible that you'll plug your computer into a receptacle it's already using: the power outlet.

That's right! Since a wire already runs into your house to carry power, why not use it to carry data as well? That is what an increasing number of people are doing, using a technology called Broadband over powerline (BPL).

Using transmission protocols designed to co-exist with power on the line, the signal is injected into the distribution wire runs into a neighborhood. At the transformer where the line connects to a subscriber, the signal is routed around the transformer into a line leading to the house.

Inside the house, the user plugs into any power outlet, then plugs an Ethernet cable into the adapter. The result-an Internet connection!

Child in mexico glues hand on bed

MEXICO - One morning this week, a mother was getting worried why her son haven't went out of his room yet on a school day. When she checked the room, she saw the hand of her son glued to the bed frame while watching TV. According to the child, he glued his hand on the bed frame because he didnt have enough sleep the night before and didn't want to go to school that day.

The child's had was taken off the bed with the help of paramedics three hours later.

It was later found out that the real reason why he didn't want to go to school was because of the fact that it was just the end of a long holiday. Some of us can surely sympathize :).

Its been a good year, its going to get even better, now that Maroon 5 is coming .They popularized the songs "She will be loved", "Makes Me Wonder" ," Wake Up Call", and "This Love".

Maroon 5 has won several awards for its debut album, Songs about Jane. Released in June 2002, the album enjoyed major chart success, going gold, platinum, and triple platinum in many countries around the world. Maroon 5 released their second studio album, It Won't Be Soon Before Long in May 2007, five years after Songs About Jane. The second set debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with first week sales of nearly half a million.

My Chemical Romance is coming to the Philippines!

So, i just heard the news this day that My Chemical Romance will visit the Philippines for a concert on January 25 at Fort Bonifacio Open Field, Taguig. Tickets are not cheap, by the way, pricing at PhP 2,575 for the silver section and PhP 3,862 for the gold section. The cheapest ticket, for general admission, only at PhP 412. I highly doubt that people in the general admission section would even see their faces. So bring binoculars!

Sadly, I cant see the concert (strict parents, strict budget, distance of the venue.) Well, atleast they could see how nice the Philippines is.

One more thing, Maroon 5 will have a concert here on March!

Half life 2 crashing / closing on you?

This has been reported many times all over forums. Half life 2 mysteriously crashes after loading screens. Now here comes the real and only fix:
(NOTE: you have to do this every time you start Half Life 2)
1. After loading, on the menu, press the "~" character (below Esc) which will bring you to the console.
2. On the console , type "mat_forcehardwaresync 0"
3. Done!

Last night, PBB celebrity edition 2 just announce its first male winner, Ruben. He was the housemate who asked big brother for a reunion of his family for his christmas gift. He also made his proposal on national tv. He won 2 million pesos, by the way.
